About the Role
We are seeking a talented Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance on complex geotechnical issues. Your primary focus will be on delivering best practice consulting services to clients and internal staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical advice on complex geotechnical issues
• Manage and deliver geotechnical field investigations
• Participate in industry groups to maintain high industry profile
• Manage, analyse and carry out geotechnical reporting for projects
• Provide safety leadership in identifying and alleviating/eliminating high priority safety hazards
• Participate in training activities, mentor and transfer knowledge to other geotechnical engineers
• Assist in preparing tenders, proposals and reports for clients
• Guide, participate and support stakeholder engagement activities
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need a civil engineering or engineering geology degree and proven experience in geotechnical engineering. Experience in undertaking and managing geotechnical field investigations for small to large size geotechnical projects, including soil and rock logging, is also essential. Additionally, you should have demonstrated experience in the preparation/review of written technical reports and client communications.
