The Role - Brake Press Operator
We're seeking a highly skilled Brake Press Operator to join our growing team. This position is best suited to someone with extensive, hands-on experience (5+ years) working exclusively on brake press machines.
If you have a proven track record in precision sheet metal work and take pride in producing quality results, this role will allow you to showcase your expertise. You'll be operating modern CNC brake press equipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency while working alongside a supportive production team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an operator who wants to be valued for their specialist skills, not just treated as "another metal worker.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Brake Press machinery with precision and efficiency
- Ensure component quality and accuracy
- Handle materials and operate a forklift
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Support the team with general production tasks
What You'll Need
- 5+ years brake press operating experience
- Background in manufacturing or engineering
- A current Australian forklift licence (essential)
- Strong computer skills
- Willingness to work shifts
- A reliable, hardworking attitude with attention to detail
- Willingness to learn-training provided!
