Job Title: Support Officer
The Western Downs Regional Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Support Officer to join our team. As a key member of our operational staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support to the Facilities department, including processing purchasing and procurement tasks, managing shared inboxes, calendars, bookings, and correspondence for operational teams.
* Assist with Dalby Regional Saleyards operations as required, including operational or administrative tasks.
* Enter, monitor, and action customer requests using Council systems, ensuring accurate record keeping.
Requirements:
* A relevant Certificate/Diploma of Business Administration or similar in a related field, or equivalent experience in an administrative or operational support role.
* Current driver's licence.
* Demonstrated understanding of business systems and processes.
* Demonstrated knowledge of workplace health and safety practices as they relate to local government and facilities operations.
* High level of computer literacy and ability to adapt to new systems and processes.
