ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a trade qualified Field Service Diesel Technician to join our William Adams team based out of our Launceston branch.
If you enjoy the challenge of delivering outstanding customer service and problem solving, while ensuring value for money for our customers, this could be a perfect fit for you.
**Your typical day will include**:
- Onsite technical troubleshooting and fault finding including; diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on Cat equipment and their components; hydraulics, transmissions and engines
- Providing outstanding customer service to our loyal customers
- Compiling and completing accurate reporting
- Working autonomously to manage your time and maximise efficiency
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Liaising with our internal service and parts department
- Maintaining a William Adams service vehicle
ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this role you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:
- Qualified Diesel Technician with experience on Caterpillar machines (preferred)
- 2+ years experience working in a Field Service role
- Have advanced mechanical diagnostic skills with Cat computer diagnostics knowledge (outstanding to have)
- A proactive and positive attitude, with strong work ethic
- A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
- Hold a current Drivers and Light Rigid Licence (heavy vehicle licence is also highly regarded)
- Proven ability to be self-motivated and to work unsupervised
