An opportunity has emerged in the dynamic regional town of Geraldton for two vocationally registered general practitioners.
Geraldton is a vibrant coastal city in the Midwest region 420km north of Perth with a population of 41,514 (2022). Known for its stunning beaches and sunny Mediterranean climate. It combines city amenities with natural beauty, featuring a lively cafe and restaurant scene, and a strong coastal connection. With beautiful white sandy beaches and turquoise waters, it's ideal for swimming, water sports, and relaxation. The city's warm climate is perfect for outdoor activities, and it also offers windsurfing, diving, snorkelling, and exploring the nearby Houtman Abrolhos Islands.
The Practice
This doctor-owned, mixed billing practice in Western Australia features two senior general practitioners, a registered nurse, a visiting podiatrist, a paediatrician, and a psychiatrist. Known for exceptional primary care, it prioritises patient-centred care and continuous improvement, adhering to the RACGP 5th Edition Standards for general practice.
Flexibility and work-life balance is important to this busy practice. Successful candidates will enjoy flexible working hours without after-hours duties, on-call responsibilities, or aged care visits. There is the possibility to engage in procedural work at both private and regional hospitals within Geraldton.
The Requirements
* Full AHPRA registration and a minimum of 2 years' experience as a general practitioner
* Supervision available for level 3 or above
* Vocationally Registered general practitioner required
The Package
* Remuneration: 65% billings, approximately $150,000 to $200,000 per annum
* Option for up to six weeks annual leave. Other GPs in the practice will provide leave cover
* Independent Contractor
* Base remuneration
