About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to join our dynamic team in Perth Airport. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of receiving, dispatching and accounting for goods in the stores.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Manage the flow of goods and ensure timely delivery to meet production demands
* Contribute to cost reduction initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement
* Monitor consumption of short shelf-life products and lead initiatives for sustainable supply chain management
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations
Requirements:
* Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading high-performing teams in a similar role
* Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of HACCP/Food Safety, QSAI requirements, and WHS regulations
* Technical Skills: Proficient in industry-related ERP systems and inventory management software
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present reports to senior stakeholders
