We have vacancies for experienced Enrolled Nurses on the Gold Coast. We have long shifts available in Burleigh and Coomera. A shift may be 6.00am to 2.00pm, or 2.00pm to 10.00pm (then an inactive sleepover until 6.00am).
Our clients have complex health and high intensity requirements. We offer our nurses/high intensity support workers (even though you are casual) regular shifts, with regular clients so you know who you are going to see and what it is that you are going to do! We do have shifts/work available with children as well as adults. If you have experience with children with complex medical needs, and want to work closer to home, we highly encourage you to apply.
We provide full training by a Registered Nurse and also offer training through our online training platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow the care plans within your scope
Undertake tasks such as PEG, IDC, SPC, pressure area care, wound care, diabetic management, seizure management and medication administration.
Exceptional case notes and ability to diligently document
Escalate any changes to the RN Clinical Case Manager
Monitor stock levels and medications
The position assists the family with the day to day activities in the home as well as ensuring that the home environment is maintained.
Our perfect candidate will ideally meet the following criteria:
Excellent communication and clinical problem solving skills
Confidence in managing your time effectively, including the ability to work autonomously
General nursing experience, post-registration / high intensity support work experience
NDIS Working Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration or certificate III minimum for Support Work
A reliable vehicle, current Australian drivers licence, car registration and comprehensive insurance
We pay above award rates, starting at $40 - $45 per hour (depending on experience), ordinary week day rate, Saturday $59 per hour and Sunday $70 per hour.
