Summary: Lead and manage all clinical care operations, fostering a safe, supportive, and person-centred environment for residents. You’ll mentor and develop the clinical team, oversee care planning, and ensure full compliance with industry standards - all while prioritising the delivery of exceptional quality care. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor nursing and care staff, fostering a positive team culture and supporting professional growth. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and families. Manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively to maintain quality care and operational efficiency. Conduct routine assessments and audits to uphold high standards of service delivery. Respond to and resolve concerns or complaints from residents, families, or staff with empathy and professionalism. Requirements: Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration. Previous experience as a Clinical Care Manager, Clinical Coordinator, or similar senior clinical role within aged care. Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC funding model, and compliance frameworks Proven ability to lead, support, and mentor clinical teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care Excellent clinical assessment, care planning, and documentation skills Sound knowledge of risk management, incident reporting, and infection prevention and control practices Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams Exceptional time management and organisational abilities, with a proactive approach to solving problems and driving improvements A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development Relevant post-graduate qualifications in aged care, health management, or clinical leadership (desirable but not essential) In Return: Oversee the clinical operations of a large aged care home in northwest, regional Tasmania with a respected not-for-profit provider committed to flexibility and work–life balance.
