How to apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible:
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Demonstrated experience working with mental health consumers including those with co-morbidities – inpatient experience preferred with demonstrated ability to interpret and apply the Mental Health Act 2007.
* Demonstrated application of evidence-based practice for the delivery of individualised patient care within a multi-disciplinary team, with a commitment to person-centred care, reduction of seclusion and restraint, recovery model of care.
* Demonstrated commitment to work and partner with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and families and employees to enhance health outcomes.
* Evidence of participation in own professional development and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues.
* Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team and intermediate computer skills.
