About the Role
We have an exciting new opportunity for a DMC Project Engineer to join our Design, Manufacture, Construction (DMC) Team. This site-based role requires time at Head Office in Tamworth, Staffordshire, so candidates must be prepared to travel and work away. The successful candidate will not be required to work outside of the UK.
The Role of a DMC Project Engineer
The DMC Project Engineer plays a crucial role in the successful delivery of our projects. Working closely with the project manager, quantity surveyor, design teams, off-site manufacture supply chain, and our own in-house construction teams, you will support the management and coordination of all aspects of project delivery, from early preconstruction stage concept to completed structure handovers with our clients. Effective communication skills and technical expertise are essential to develop designs that utilise the best industry DfMA components, creating hybrid structures from various materials, including structural steel, precast and insitu concrete, structural, and cross-laminated timber. Your responsibilities extend through the coordination of the DfMA supply chain manufacturing each product and then onto site to provide technical support to the construction assembly teams. In short, you will take a project from concept through to completion.
Location
This role requires the candidate to work both from Head Office in Tamworth, Staffordshire, as well as site. The successful candidate will not be required to travel outside of the UK.
