Our Personal Care Workers
You are the heart and soul of our organisation, delivering our mission where you partner with members of our community to support their fullness of life. Our Personal Care Workers work in the community to support our elderly customers in aspects of personal care such as showering, cleaning, shopping and companionship.
You have strong connections with our rostering teams and your supervisor, who are on hand to support you. Career pathways are a focus for those wanting to progress or shift into new areas and roles, such as as Case Management, Customer Service, Administration or Team Leaders.
About You
We are currently seeking Personal Care Workers with experience in Home & Community Care, who are willing to travel to client homes to provide care, to join our friendly and professional team. Our clients are in Foster through to Yarram and surrounding areas.
You will be friendly, caring and resilient. A true professional who genuinely wants the best for your clients.
Minimum of Certificate 3 in Aged Care/Individual Support or Home and Community Care or Cert IV Disability, Bach/Dip of Nursing or completed first-year study towards it.
Current minimum Level 2 First Aid Certificate
Recent Police Check (within 3 months) or be willing to get one through us
Own roadworthy vehicle and valid Driver's Licence to drive in Australia
Your own smartphone (either Android or Apple is fine)
Good verbal and written communication and basic computer skills (for rosters, eLearning, etc.)
2 doses of Covid-19 vaccine
Medication training will be highly regarded
