Remuneration Package
Up to $156,253.00. Base salary ranges from $90,177.00 to $137,861.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience.

Position Overview
Students at Balranald Central School access a continuum of learning across K-12 in a caring and friendly environment. Our current enrolment is 185 students, including 38 Aboriginal students. All staff know students and focus on academic achievement and wellbeing in a positive school culture. The community and shire are strong supporters of the school and Balranald. Balranald Central School has many long-standing teaching and administration staff combined with beginning teachers that work collectively and collaboratively to achieve meaningful student learning goals. Students have access to excellent facilities and resources that provide opportunities for students across K-12. The school is committed to building connections in the community and successful pathways to life beyond school.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Approval to teach 7‑10 science and 11‑12 biology
- Demonstrated ability to develop quality teaching resources relevant to students with a diverse range of learning needs, cultural backgrounds and personal interests
- Demonstrated ability to use effective classroom management skills and wellbeing practices to create a learning environment that is engaging and fosters a culture of high expectations
- Demonstrated capacity to work as an effective team member of a faculty and a commitment to whole‑school programs
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
