I am currently recruiting on behalf of my client for an experienced Field Service Industrial Electrician / Technician to join their growing team.
This role will see you working across Victoria installing, commissioning, servicing and maintaining power generation equipment and diesel generators across a variety of industries including construction, infrastructure, mining, and commercial operations.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys varied work, travel, and hands-on technical problem solving, while working with modern equipment and a supportive technical team.
The position will initially be engaged on a 3-month casual contract through Acclaimed Workforce, with the opportunity to transition to a permanent full-time position directly with the client.
Key Responsibilities
* Installation and commissioning of diesel and gas generators
* Electrical wiring, testing and troubleshooting of power generation systems
* Preventative maintenance and servicing of generators and power systems
* Diagnosing and repairing faults in electrical and mechanical components
* Conducting on-site field service work across Victoria
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant standards
* Completing service documentation and reports
About You To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
* A Grade Electrical Licence (essential)
* Experience working with industrial electrical systems
* Previous experience with generators, power systems or heavy equipment (highly regarded)
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Ability to work independently in field service environments
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Current driver’s licence
* Willingness to travel for site work when required
