Clinical Neuropsychologist Job Description
Job Summary:
The Northern NSW Local Health District is seeking a qualified and experienced Clinical Psychologist to provide neuropsychological services to the Ballina Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit and the Northern Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide neuropsychological assessments and interventions to patients in both inpatient and community-based settings.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
* Conduct research and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices in neuropsychology.
Requirements:
* Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
* Registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Experience working with adult and/or pediatric populations with acquired and traumatic brain injuries, neurological disorders, and other complex health conditions.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients from diverse backgrounds.
