Business Development Manager
Overview:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving business growth, identifying new market opportunities, building strong relationships with clients and partners, and increasing revenue through strategic sales initiatives.
This role will be focused on the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) market, with a focus on securing new business and growing market share from existing accounts across Corporate, Groups, Sports & Entertainment clients.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving revenue growth, exceptional negotiation and closing abilities, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive business growth by identifying new market opportunities and developing strategies to capture them.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to increase revenue and drive business growth.
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives and budgeted profits.
* Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments to identify opportunities for growth.
* Represent the property at conferences, tradeshows, networking events, familiarisations, sales missions and on-site inspections.
* Prepare and present regular reports on sales activities and results to senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years working in the hospitality/hotel/travel industry.
* Exceptional skills in building and maintaining strong relationships with high-profile corporate clients.
* Advanced negotiation and closing abilities, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
* Proficient in strategic planning and executing business initiatives tailored to our esteemed hotel.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a polished and professional demeanor.
* Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and identify business opportunities.
* High degree of professionalism and a commitment to excellence.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic setting while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
* Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and represent the brand at industry events.
* Results-orientated with a proven ability to achieve sales targets and portfolio KPIs.
