St Andrews Christian College is seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary School Teacher, who specialises in Science and Mathematics, with a capacity to teach VCE Physics and Mathematical Methods. As part of the Secondary School department, this permanent position (estimated FTE 0.87‐1.0) offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a meaningful impact in the field of education. The main responsibilities and tasks of the role include:
* Planning, preparing and delivering engaging and effective lessons across the secondary school curriculum.
* Assessing and reporting on the progress of students, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
* Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that caters to the needs of diverse student abilities and backgrounds.
* Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and enhancement of teaching practices.
* Participating in extracurricular activities, school events, and pastoral care duties as required.
* Adhering to school policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and child protection.
