We are a medium size builder/developer who build townhouses, duplexes and dual living homes, with townhouses being what we specialise in. Throughout our team, we have a significant amount of experience and all work as a team to get the job done.
This role we are seeking is a Construction Supervisor/ Site Manager, who will be given the opportunity to lead projects in the Logan & Ipswich regions. The ideal candidate will have experience managing residential and/or commercial job sites (with backup from construction administrator, office staff and visits from Queensland Construction Manager/ Project Manager). This is a hands on role so we need someone who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty.
Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas
* Liaising with PM on project scope, schedule and Key milestones/Deliverables
* Plan and Supervise day to day site execution works of contractors
* Project execution documentation review and approval to mobilise for contractors
* Keep our Project Management system Procore up to date with defects and scheduling
* Operating Machinery such as Excavator & Skid Steer - Exp a bonus but not essential
So who are we looking for?
* Experience with Procore and/or Microsoft Projects (desirable but not essential)
* Someone who can communicate effectively with the trades on-site, the office team & external parties
* Someone whose focus is on quality, OH&S and takes pride in the work that they do.
* A hands on person happy to get stuck in to the physical side of things when required to ensure the job gets done
* Knowledge of current building codes and regulations
* Minimum 3-5 years' experience supervising residential/ commercial construction projects
