Key Duties:

* In collaboration with the management team, supervision of operations ensuring compliance with all standards, policies and procedures and legislative requirements
* High level focus on food safety and infection control through implementation and monitoring of relevant safety and hygiene procedures and practices
* Monitor food quality and service with particular focus on the Mental Health Centre
* Manage the roster including shift coverage and accurate payroll data entry
* Effectively communicate and liaise with multiple client stakeholders
* Maintain strong focus on patient/customer satisfaction
* Monitor stock and waste control processes
* Facilitate on the job staff training where required

The Person:

* Previous experience in a supervisory role
* Certificate 3 Commercial Cookery qualification and willingness to undertake cooking duties when required
* Established positive and proactive people management skills
* Solution focused outlook with a keen eye for detail
* Well-developed accurate and professional administrative skills
* Large team rostering experience
* Experience in internal and external healthcare centred auditing processes
