Pharmacy Support Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician to assist in the preparation of prescriptions, handling customer queries, and ensuring timely medication supply.
This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a hospital environment. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be assisting in pharmacy services to hospital staff, patients, and customers, dispensing and supplying medications for hospital and cancer patients, and liaising with hospital staff and associated personnel.
About the Position
* Providing high-quality pharmacy services to hospital staff, patients, and customers
* Dispensing and supplying medications for hospital and cancer patients
* Liaising with hospital staff and associated personnel
* Assisting with imprest and pharmacy inventory management
* Delivering and collecting medications to and from hospital wards
* Entering patient-specific data into the pharmacy database
* Assisting with patient account enquiries and resolving issues
About You
You are a dedicated Pharmacy Technician with dispensing experience in an Australian pharmacy setting.
Essential Requirements:
* Dispensing experience in an Australian based hospital or community pharmacy
* Ability to address patient needs with confidentiality, sensitivity and professionalism
* High attention to detail
* Ability to work in a team environment
