The Role

The Cadet Engineer – Infrastructure is primarily responsible for assisting the day-to-day Development Engineering, Traffic Engineering and general Civil Engineering tasks within the Infrastructure Services Engineering team.

* Assist with assessments for new developments
* Assist with the provision of technical input and engineering decisions
* Monitor the implementation of the Development Engineering Specifications for Infrastructure Assets
* Assess and inspect applications which relate to development engineering issues
* Project management (planning, design and consultation) of traffic and transportation projects
* Preparation and submission of funding applications for traffic and transportation projects and the identification of any new opportunities for funding
* Review and provide comment on Traffic Management Plans and Traffic Control Plans submitted to Council by external parties


Requirements

To be considered for this role you will need to be currently enrolled in a Degree in Civil Engineering, in your penultimate or final year.
