We are seeking an experienced Consultant Relations Director to join a leading global investment firm based in Sydney. Our client is a distinguished global asset management firm with over four decades of experience and a proven track record managing substantial assets worldwide. This senior position is focused on building and deepening strategic relationships with the Institutional Asset Consultants and Research Houses across Australia.
In this newly created role, the Consultant Relations Director will work closely with internal stakeholders across sales and investment teams to support the development and delivery of tailored investment solutions. A key part of the role involves leading technical investment discussions, providing market insights to internal teams, and ensuring the firm is well-positioned across consultant platforms. You will also play a critical role in supporting ratings outcomes and advocating for new product launches with key research partners. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, effective communicator, and trusted partner to both internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of relevant experience, ideally gained within asset management, consulting, or research environments. A strong understanding of the Australian consultants is essential. Candidates should possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex investment strategies in a clear and compelling manner. A Bachelor's degree is required, with additional qualifications such as an MBA or CFA viewed favourably.
