As Content editor you will wirk as part of the Sharepoint to Cloud Project team. You primary responsibility involves writing and adapting content from legacy intranet and platform. The position also involves collaborating with SMEs and coordinating and guiding content creation
- Migrate content from current intranet/SharePoint to a new platform.
- Work with Content Owners to review, edit and adapt existing content to the new platform, ensuring that it meets the new style, tone, and accuracy standards and fits within the new Information Architecture (IA).
- Collaborate with other members of the intranet team and organisation, including content creators, SMEs and IT professionals to coordinate content creation.
- Provide input and assist the supplier in creation and ongoing updates of the SP Online migration plan and Teamsite migration dates.
- Control and provide assistance to the business on the old to new mapping based on the SP Online new architecture design, document the final mapping and obtain sign-off.
- Engage and provide direction to business on SP On-Premise content clean-up tasks to ensure that each Teamsite / Business Unit meets the agreed schedule run dates.
- Other duties as required.
**Mandatory Requirements**:
- Minimum of 5 years working in a similar capacity.
- Previous experience with SharePoint content management systems.
- Experience in writing and editing for the web, with attention to detail, within a large and complex organisation, and in particular working on intranets, SharePoint and MS Teams.
- Experience with content migration from legacy intranets/SharePoint to modern enterprise Intranet and SharePoint platforms.
- The ability to work with content owners to create content for new pages to meet the future state modern enterprise Intranet and SharePoint platform.
- Demonstrated understanding of best practice for digital content, particularly with reference to plain English and accessibility (WCAG2.1).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organisation.
