The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all payroll-related tasks. While a relevant qualification in payroll, accounting or business is desirable, it is not mandatory for success. Experience in a payroll role is also advantageous but not essential. Familiarity with payroll systems, particularly PayGlobal, is a plus; however, a basic understanding of payroll processes and systems is sufficient for applicants with strong capabilities in data entry and numerical tasks.This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as collaboration with various stakeholders is key. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating the ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines without compromising quality.ABOUT THE ROLE:The Payroll Administrator is a key member of the payroll team, responsible for supporting accurate and timely payroll processing by entering and maintaining employee data and timesheets. The role focuses on setting up new hires, maintaining payroll records, and assisting in the day-to-day administration of payroll functions inline with Australian workplace laws, including Fair Work and superannuation obligations. This is a fixed-term role that involves supporting our payroll team and will conclude at the beginning of December.KEY RESPONSIBILITES:· Assist Payroll Team in Processing PayGlobal pay runs within the payroll processing timeframes, ensuring data accuracy· Preparing any payment changes and/or adjustments and submitting to the Senior Payroll Manager for processing· Accurate entering of new starters, terminations and updating existing employees· Be a point of contact for employees who have payroll queries· Understanding of, and the ability to interpret employment documents including, letters of employment, Enterprise Agreements and relevant modern Awards· Maintain accurate administrative records in accordance with audit requirement· Fortnightly and monthly reporting requirements for Internal CompaniesWHAT WE OFFER:· Generous discounts on Journey Beyond travel and experiences· Study Assistance Policy· Employee Referral Policy· Parental Leave program· Purchased Leave policy· Private Health discounts· Employee Assistance Program· Discounts on Journey Beyond merchandise· Flexible working environmentHOW TO APPLY:If this opportunity aligns with what you’ve been looking for and you possess the necessary skills and experience, we’d love to hear form you.Apply now.
