About Us

Horzion Skin Cancer and Medical Centre is a well-established and patient-focused general practice located on the Mid North Coast. Our dedicated team of GPs, and nurses work collaboratively to provide high-quality primary care to our diverse community. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of our clinic and help drive continued growth and efficiency.

About the Role

As the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the practice. This includes overseeing administration, compliance, HR, and patient services. You will play a key role in supporting our clinical team and ensuring that the practice delivers excellent care in a welcoming and well-organized environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee day-to-day operations of the practice
* Manage staff recruitment, training, and rostering
* Ensure compliance with Medicare, RACGP standards, and other regulatory bodies
* Maintain financial records, budgeting, and reporting
* Implement and monitor policies and procedures
* Oversee patient bookings, billings, and reception processes
* Liaise with GPs, nurses, allied health, and external stakeholders
* Drive quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

* Previous experience as a Practice Manager or in a healthcare administration role (essential)
* Knowledge of Medicare billing, accreditation, and medical software Best Practice.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
* Understanding of HR processes and employment law
* Financial and business acumen

Desirable:

* Certificate or Diploma in Practice Management or Business Administration
* Experience with general practice accreditation processes
* Familiarity with My Health Record, PIP/QI reporting
