Job Description
The School is seeking to appoint a Level B Lecturer (Nursing) who will contribute to the teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate programs and to research. The position will have a teaching and research profile, where you will undertake teaching, course coordination and are expected to have demonstrated clinical expertise and teaching experience. You will also undertake research in your area of expertise along with supervising research higher degree students (if eligible). Experience in mental health, aged care or infection prevention control nursing is desirable.
There are two continuing, full‐time positions based at Griffith University Gold Coast or Brisbane South (Nathan) campuses. As Griffith is a multi‐campus university you may be required to work across other campus locations.
Salary Range
The full‐time equivalent base salary will be Academic Level B range $113,226 – $134,460 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $132,474 – $157,318 per annum.
About you
* The successful applicant will hold unrestricted registration with AHPA as a registered nurse.
* You will also possess a Masters qualification in nursing (or equivalent) and/or be nearing completion of a PhD in nursing or a related area.
* You will have a track record in tertiary teaching and experience in course coordination.
* You will have success in attracting research grant funding and a track record of publication.
* Desirable expertise in mental health nursing, aged care or infection prevention and control.
