An excellent opportunity for an experienced an Accountant to join their team and assist the tight-knit finance team of 4 within their Sydney office.
About The Role
Within this fast-paced role, you will report directly in the Financial Controller
and be a part of a tight-knit team within the business' Head Office in Inner-South Sydney.
Your duties will include:
* Financial Reporting & Planning
* Report and maintenance of: Cashflow, WIP spreadsheet, Business Summary, P&L, Balance sheet, End of project review, business performance - budget vs actual etc. for all projects
* Business forecasting and budgeting
* Timesheet uploading for subcontractors
* Wages journal management
* BAS Preparation
* Liaise with external accounts, solicitors, auditors and insurance providers
* Risk Management
* Analysis of current processes and suggest efficiency improvements
About You
For success within this role, my client is looking for;
* Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role
* Construction industry experience required
* Tertiary qualifications in Finance or related discipline preferred
* Good communication skills - Both written and verbal
* Strong attention to detail and data entry skills
* Jobpac experience is preferred, with experience in implementing an ERP highly desirable
Remuneration & Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a remuneration package of $80,000 - $100,000 + superannuation.
