Overview
CSL Australia is currently looking for a permanent full-time Third Engineer to join our cement carrier Goliath on a roster schedule of 6 weeks on and 6 weeks off. The operation is based in the Bass Strait. The Third Engineer reports to the First Engineer and is responsible for the maintenance of the fuel and lube-oil purification system, boiler maintenance and feed-water control, compressed-air machinery and domestic services as directed.

Responsibilities
* Safe operation of the main engine in accordance with Class and Standing Orders
* Safe operation of the boiler in accordance with Class and Standing Orders
* Perform day work within a rotating 24-hour system of gear turn, including fuel and lube-oil purifiers, air compressors, boiler and boiler feed-water control and heat exchanges as directed
* Any other duties as required
Qualifications
* Educational requirement: AMSA Marine Order 72 – Engineer Class 3 (required)
* AMSA Engine Watchkeeper (Class 3) CoC/CoR Unlimited
* Minimum 6 months sea time as an Engine Watchkeeper
* Certificate of Safety Training (STCW) (desirable)
* Work Safely at Heights Certification (desirable)Enter and Work in Confined Space Certification (desirable)
* Hold, or be eligible to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) (required)
* Australian Citizen or unlimited Australian Working Rights
* Living in Australia
