Support Worker Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our team in delivering high-quality care and support services to individuals with disabilities.
Job Description:
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing person-centered support to individuals with varying levels of need. You will assist with daily living tasks, including personal hygiene, medication management, and domestic assistance. Additionally, you will engage participants in community activities, social events, and recreational pursuits tailored to their interests.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist participants with daily living tasks, including hygiene support, meal preparation, and domestic assistance.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with participants, their families, and other stakeholders.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery.
* Document participant progress, challenges, and achievements in accordance with established policies and procedures.
* Contribute to a safe and respectful work environment by adhering to all relevant policies and guidelines.
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent qualification).
* Minimum 12 months paid experience supporting people with physical and intellectual disabilities.
* Australian Driver's Licence.
* Current First Aid Certificate and CPR certification.
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module completion.
* Reliable smartphone with data access.
