About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Salesperson to join our Manjimup team.
Reporting to the Branch Manager you will focus on developing strong customer relationships. Our customer base is broad and can include local farmers, primary producers and trade customers and the focus of your role is to provide a memorable experience for all customers either in store or over the telephone whilst :
Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching of goods
Assisting customers with pricing and product queries and processing counter sales
Maintaining safety processes
Assisting with merchandise campaign material
Maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment
Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries
About you
To be successful in this role you will have experience in working in a team environment and have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture. Knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise is desirable but not essential. In addition, you will demonstrate :
Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships.
A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly.
A current driver's licence is essential.
MR License & Forklift ticket desirable.
