Arts Queensland (AQ), now part of Department of Education, is looking for a permanent full-time Senior Maintenance Officer (AO5) to come work for us.
The successful applicant will work with the Arts Property and Facilities (APAF) team at the Queensland Cultural Centre (QCC) at South Brisbane.
You will assist the Manager, Contracts and Maintenance in the delivery of the annual maintenance works program within the Queensland Cultural Centre and its owned and leased properties.
This position is essential in being able to work collaboratively and proactively as a team to offer our stakeholders a high standard of service.
About You
The successful candidate will be able to:
Work closely with all stakeholders, including our clients at QCC to ensure timely and efficient annual maintenance programs including planned and unplanned work orders.Coordinator procurement and management of all maintenance services contracts, consultants, and other contractors.Ability to adhere and follow local procedures and processes, including, participating in safe work practices at the site.Ability to apply facilities and asset management principles to the administration of asset lifecycles, maintenance strategies, and audits.Ability to prepare and/or review a range of correspondences and briefing notes.Ability to participate in a mandatory on-call roster and ability to work outside core business hours including weekends and public holidays.
