As a seasoned category management expert, this role requires an individual with extensive knowledge of drilling and completions operations within the oil and gas industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver end-to-end contract management activities in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
* Lead the sourcing to contract process, including RFx drafting and issuing, commercial evaluation, negotiations, award and contract formation.
* Coordinate contractual, commercial, taxation, insurance and legal issues with relevant stakeholders, providing contract advice to end users and stakeholders.
* Prepare high-quality contractual documentation efficiently and accurately.
* Manage ongoing contract administration, including variations, contractual claims, expenditure management against approved contract ceilings, and other contractual notices.
Requirements:
* Engineering or Quantity Surveying qualification, Business Administration, Law or equivalent professional degree.
* CIPS or equivalent qualification in procurement and supply chain management, or relevant experience in contracts and category management.
* Sound comprehension of Contracts/Commercial Law and its application.
* Strong competency in using contract management systems and ERP systems, such as SAP and SAP Ariba, for end-to-end sourcing projects and post-award contract administration.
* Strategic thinker capable of developing, planning and negotiating commercial outcomes aligned with category strategies.
