Key Role Summary
This position focuses on an experienced insurance broker with 1-2 years of experience managing a portfolio of commercial business. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of risk management and insurance products for key sectors.
Main Responsibilities
* Maintain a portfolio of key revenue-generating accounts while ensuring high-quality customer service.
* Develop, pursue, and convert new business opportunities to drive growth.
* Grow the commercial portfolio through expansion and organic growth strategies.
* On-board new clients and deliver value proposition.
* Nurture meaningful relationships with insurers.
* Implement effective renewal and broking strategies.
* Ensure retention and defense strategies are in place for all clients.
* Participate in claim-related matters effectively.
Requirements
* Ideal candidate has 1 – 2 years of broking experience.
* Clear and effective communication skills.
* Able to work autonomously within a team environment.
* Moderate knowledge of risks and insurance products for key sectors.
* Motivation to self-start, enhanced by strong time management skills.
* Ability to identify and address issues through innovative thinking.
* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft suite and ability to learn systems quickly.
* Tier 1 Insurance Broking Qualifications or higher.
