Wood Chip Transportation Specialist
We are seeking a qualified Wood Chip Transportation Specialist to join our organization. As a Wood Chip Transportation Specialist, you will be responsible for transporting wood chips from infield chipping sites to the Port of Portland.
* Collect woodchip infield and deliver to the designated location
* Complete all necessary associated documentation
* Implement proactive measures to prevent deficiencies in delivery
* Take good care of company vehicles under your supervision
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, fatigue management standards, National Heavy Vehicle Regulations, and organizational guidelines
Requirements:
* Possession of a valid Heavy Vehicle Driver's License (MC or HC with the ability to upgrade to MC)
* Experience operating chip trucks is preferred
* A thorough understanding of relevant Commonwealth/State Safety and Environmental legislation, Main Road Heavy vehicle legislation, and permitting standards
