Job Title: Cloud Transformation Expert
As a key member of the AWS ANZ Public Sector team, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with government customers in Australia. Your primary objective will be to drive the adoption of cloud services, deliver customer success outcomes, and support digital transformation initiatives within the public sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline focused on government agencies, education institutions, and non-profit organisations.
* Build and maintain deep relationships with executive and technical decision-makers in federal, state, and territory government departments.
* Understand customer missions, business drivers, and cloud adoption goals; work backwards from customer needs to identify and deliver tailored AWS solutions.
* Collaborate with internal AWS teams to create compelling value propositions and articulate the benefits of AWS for the public sector.
* Lead the development and execution of account strategies, proposals, and contract negotiations to achieve or exceed sales targets.
* Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through regular communication, business reviews, and proactive delivery of AWS innovations.
* Navigate regulatory and compliance processes unique to the public sector, ensuring proposals and solutions align with relevant frameworks.
Qualifications
* 4+ years of stakeholder or account management experience, or experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
* Experience managing executive customer relationships and key business stakeholders.
* Knowledge of cloud computing concepts.
* Experience with high-level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management.
* Relevant security clearances or ability to obtain federal government clearance if required.
