Job Title: Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner
About The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team in the Hobart region. As a Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing support to participants with complex needs, conducting assessments, writing behaviour support plans and programs, and assisting with their implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain relationships with participants and their families
* Provide direct behavioural interventions in individual and group sessions
* Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop behaviour analysis support plans
* Support colleagues, caregivers, and support workers on clinical techniques
* Partner with other professionals to develop and implement individualized participant goals and checklists
* Document and report participant progress accurately and timely
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (e.g., psychology, education)
* Postgraduate qualifications in Positive Behaviour Support
* NDIS Practitioner ID, NDIS Workers Screening Check, and Working with Children Check
* Strong professional experience in Positive Behaviour Support
* Ability to communicate effectively with participants, families, and other stakeholders
