About the role
If you are a degree qualified Design Engineer, this is a great opportunity to have meaningful input into exciting engineering projects.
* Develop, design and test material handling equipment
* Performing Engineering calculations and drafting for the project
* Use the latest design technology – 3D Modelling, FEA, Team Centre, Solid Edge
* Review and design hydraulic systems for attachments as required
* Prepare quality documents and reports
* Work safely with our skilled engineering team to solve problems and analyse product performance.
About you
* At least 2+ year's experience
* Use of 3D modelling package e.g., Solid Edge or similar
* Knowledge of FEA software (Ansys) and hydraulics preferable
* Ability to gain knowledge of Australian Standards
* Excellent engineering calculation skills
* Ability to read and interpret machine drawings
* Ability to gain an understanding of fabrication including welding compliance etc
* Excellent research and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills; and
* Exemplary skills in excel and other Microsoft office suit.
