**Job Description: Senior Hazard Facility Process Technician**
We are seeking an experienced Senior Hazard Facility Process Technician to join our team in Moranbah. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of plant systems.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant trade qualification, strong understanding of process systems, instrumentation, and control logic. They will be skilled in performing basic maintenance tasks, identifying, documenting, and escalating equipment faults.
Key responsibilities include operating plant systems, conducting thorough monthly inspections of plant equipment and systems, identifying and reporting faults or irregularities, collaborating with maintenance fitters, facilitating procurement of necessary parts and materials, monitoring onsite spare parts inventory, and scheduling and overseeing external contractors.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be comfortable using maintenance management systems, spreadsheets, and digital reporting tools.
**Responsibilities:**
* Operate plant systems as needed, maintaining adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.
* Conduct thorough monthly inspections of plant equipment and systems.
* Identify and document faults or irregularities for timely resolution.
* Collaborate with maintenance fitters to prioritize and plan repair activities.
* Facilitate procurement of necessary parts and materials to support planned maintenance.
* Monitor onsite spare parts inventory and ensure timely replenishment of consumed items.
* Schedule and oversee external contractors for specialized services.
**Requirements:**
* Relevant trade qualification (e.g., mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation)
