Randstad is proud to be partnering with our client who are a well‐known Australian business based in Brisbane's Northern suburbs. Due to business growth they are seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to join their small team in this newly created position.
What's on offer?
* Full‐time and permanent role with the option to work a 9‐day fortnight
* Report into a down‐to‐earth, approachable and highly experienced Payroll Manager
* Brisbane Northside location with free onsite parking
* Competitive salary on offer – $100K – $110K+ Super depending on experience level
About the role
* Fortnightly payroll processing including new starters, terminations, redundancies, leave calculations, superannuation, etc.
* Ensure compliance with payroll related legislation
* Updating and maintaining employee records
* New starter onboarding and employee file maintenance
* Responding to employee queries in a timely manner
* Award interpretation
* Handle inquiries and resolve payroll‐related issues
About you
* 5+ years of experience in a similar role
* Chris21 or iChris experience (essential)
* Strong award interpretation skills
* A team player with excellent communication skills and a customer‐centric approach to your work
* Full and unlimited Australian working rights
