We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join NCS on a short‐term, 2‐month contract to support a focused discovery and impact analysis initiative. This role sits within a large, regulated enterprise environment with established finance, digital and service delivery functions, and will contribute to planning for an upcoming change to how customer payments are managed.
You'll work closely with finance teams, business system owners and delivery partners to understand how payments currently flow across multiple systems, document end‐to‐end processes, and assess the operational impacts of an upcoming platform change. The focus will be on clear documentation, stakeholder engagement and practical analysis that informs future decision‐making, rather than hands‐on solution delivery or technical design.
This role is well suited to a Business Analyst who is comfortable navigating complex organisations, enjoys structured discovery work, and can translate real‐world business processes into clear, usable insights for both business and delivery teams.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience working as a Business Analyst on process mapping, impact analysis or discovery‐focused initiatives
* Strong ability to engage with business, finance and operational stakeholders to understand current ways of working
* Experience documenting end‐to‐end processes, workflows and dependencies in a clear, structured manner
* Comfortable analysing how changes affect people, processes and systems, and articulating risks and gaps
* Ability to produce high‐quality written artefacts suitable for both business and executive audiences
* Experience operating in large, structured or highly regulated environments
* Strong communication skills and a pragmatic, outcomes‐focused approach
