About The Role
Due to internal movement, ARRCS is currently sourcing a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to support the team and residents at Terrace Gardens Aged Care Facility on a permanent part-time basis. Located in Palmerston, Terrace Gardens is a residential aged care facility housing 88 beds.
This role is offered on a part-time basis, working a specific roster of 21:30 - 06:45 on a rotating schedule: - Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday- Week 2: Monday, TuesdayThis position attracts a penalty-driven rate of $44.20 - $46.43/hour gross base (dependent on skills and experience), plus salary packaging options.
The Registered Nurse will provide clinical care to elderly residents, demonstrating care and compassion. The role involves hands-on care and leading/supporting junior staff, including Support Workers, to develop their skills and ensure quality care.
Additional ad hoc shifts may be available. Please note that Visa Sponsorship is NOT available for this role.
Skills And Experience
Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification
Full rights to work in Australia
Ability to liaise with a care team and provide coordinated care
Knowledge of contemporary nursing practice
Understanding of resident-centered and residential care services
Experience working in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams
Effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including intermediate computer skills
