The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team at Myoora Homestead in our Henty Region.
Jindera Hostel is a 20-bed aged care home that provides exceptional care to members of the local community. The successful candidate will be supported by a strong, engaged, and experienced leadership and corporate team. You will deliver person-centred care and exceptional clinical services to older Australians in a nurturing, home-like environment.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will:
* Provide high-quality clinical care to residents
* Support care staff in the delivery of services aligned with the Aged Care Quality Standards
* Contribute to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive home for all
* Support the ongoing health and wellbeing of residents with empathy and compassion
* Work collaboratively across a multidisciplinary team
What You Will Need
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Sound knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards
* Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
* A team-focused mindset and proactive attitude
* A willingness to work with residents living with dementia
* Availability to work across a range of shifts and days
* Open to new graduates
* Willingness to undergo relevant pre-employment checks
Desirable:
* Previous aged care experience
* Experience with or willingness to learn about dementia care
* Visa sponsorship and relocation assistance may be offered to the right candidate
