Director interface (alo & agreements) (temporary opportunity - up to 24 months)

Bundaberg
Temporary
Nsw Government
Posted: 11 May
Offer description

You're a leader focussed on efficiency; simplifying tasks and processes and developing solutions to share with others.

You want broad scope and collaboration, mixed with autonomy and impact.

In this role, you'll:

Lead the management of complex third-party interfaces relating to land access and agreements across multiple infrastructure projects transitioning from delivery into operations. Acting as a senior representative for the organisation, you'll oversee engagement with adjoining landowners, government agencies and key transport stakeholders to ensure access arrangements, rights and obligations are clearly defined, negotiated and managed to support safe and efficient project delivery.

You'll guide the development and implementation of third-party interface strategies that address impacts to land and property, including access requirements, construction activities and operational considerations. This includes leading negotiations, establishing formal agreements and ensuring all parties have a clear understanding of responsibilities, timelines and risk allocation. Your work will be critical in enabling construction and operational activities to proceed smoothly while maintaining strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders.

Leading a team of specialists, you'll provide strategic advice to project leadership on interface risks, stakeholder impacts and agreement management, while driving consistent practices across projects. You'll also play a key role in strengthening frameworks and processes that support effective third-party interface management, ensuring readiness as projects transition into operations across the broader Sydney Metro program.

This is a fixed term full time role until 31 December 2028.

About you

You're an experienced infrastructure or project delivery leader with a strong track record managing third-party interfaces and complex stakeholder agreements within large-scale infrastructure environments. You bring a solid understanding of project delivery, scope management and the practical implications of construction and operational activities on adjoining land and external stakeholders.

You're confident negotiating outcomes and managing relationships in situations where impacts to land, access or operations must be carefully coordinated. Your ability to balance project requirements with stakeholder needs enables you to resolve issues effectively and maintain progress in complex and highly visible delivery environments.

You're also a capable people leader who supports and develops your team while maintaining a strong focus on delivery outcomes and stakeholder experience. With a collaborative and solutions-focused approach, you build trusted partnerships and ensure third-party agreements are managed proactively, enabling projects to transition successfully from delivery into operations.
