Support Elderly People in Their Homes
Hundreds of elderly people are living in their homes in Nowra and surrounding areas on the South Coast, requiring care and support to meet their spiritual needs.
This is an opportunity to make a difference in their lives by volunteering as a pastoral care volunteer with our organisation.
You'll be actively involved with a local church in the area, supplementing and complementing the work of our coordinator. Your role may involve:
1. Supporting people to meet their spiritual needs
As a pastoral care volunteer, you'll nurture your own spiritual life while making a positive impact on the lives of others.
Volunteering can be a rewarding experience for both the person you visit and yourself. Regular visits from volunteers like you can help to improve quality of life and reduce feelings of isolation.

To be eligible for this role, you'll need to:
* Be 18 years or older
* Have a national police check
* Be able to commit to one hour per week for at least six months
