Pulmonology Clinical Nurse Specialist Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Pulmonology Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with patients with a range of respiratory conditions, including Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Airways Disease, Cystic Fibrosis, and Tuberculosis.
About the Role
* Deliver high-quality nursing care in an outpatient setting, working across diverse clinical areas within the Heart Lung program and supporting patients with specialised needs.
* Develop from a novice practitioner to a proficient clinician, consolidating your skills through hands-on experience and ongoing professional development, while taking accountability for your own standards of care and the guidance of others.
As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert, compassionate care to lung transplant recipients and their carers, working closely with the Lung Transplant Nurse Consultant and the broader Heart Lung program across clinical areas.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide evidence-based nursing care to patients with respiratory conditions.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
Requirements
* Degree in Nursing or relevant field.
* Current registration as a nurse in [State/Province].
* Experience working in a pulmonary or critical care environment.
Nurses in this area will work across the Thoracic, Lung Function and TB units.
