The Department of Education is seeking a highly skilled Program Coordinator to lead the North Metro PEAC program.
About the Role
As a Program Coordinator, you will provide educational leadership to the PEAC team and develop and implement strategic plans to achieve student success.
Responsibilities
\
1. Lead the teaching and learning program for gifted and talented students in alignment with the Western Australian Curriculum general capabilities.
\
2. Manage staff performance and development in accordance with the Public Sector Performance Management Standard and Departmental policy.
\
3. Develop and implement strategies to support student achievement and well-being.
\
4. Collaborate with the Assistant Director of Education to provide educational leadership and support to the PEAC team.
\
5. Ensure effective communication and coordination with stakeholders, including parents, teachers, and community groups.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:

6. A recognised qualification in teaching and current registration to teach in Western Australia.
\
7. Experience in leading educational programs and teams.
\
8. Strong interpersonal and public relations skills.
\
9. Ability to manage physical and financial resources effectively.
\
10. Capacity to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
