The Business Development Executive plays a pivotal role in driving our growth aspirations. Reporting to the Managing Director, Modaxo APMEA (Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa), based in Brisbane, Australia and working closely with the global M&A team, you will represent the company within our primary target markets of Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.
**Key Responsibilities**
You will lead the charge in identifying and contacting business owners, building relationships, and developing potential acquisition opportunities in the people transportation sector including bus, rail, taxi, parking, aviation, medical transport and traffic management.
Working autonomously under the broad direction of the Managing Director, you will undertake the following key responsibilities:
- Continually manage, maintain, and develop our proprietary database of acquisition targets and contacts to build a pipeline of potential acquisition targets.
- Explore new or different ways of contacting decision-makers despite firewalls.
- Build rapport with C-suite executives and/or business owners by demonstrating your understanding of software businesses and their operation experiences to gather detailed information from targets.
