The Southeast Region of our company is currently searching for an experienced Ports Engineer to support our Florida office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive the development and growth of our ports practice in the SE Region.
* Conduct ongoing business development activities to identify new project opportunities.
* Lead and manage a team of port and maritime engineers.
* Perform structural analysis and design for marine and upland components, including berthing and mooring analyses.
* Develop plans, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates for port projects.
* Apply a strong understanding of maritime codes and references.
* Prepare basis of design, design calculations, technical reports, alternatives analyses, and study reports.
* Mentor and train junior engineers in port and maritime engineering.
* Leverage existing industry relationships to promote services and cross-sell across all disciplines.
Requirements:
* Bachelor or Master degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
* Minimum 10 years of experience in analysis and design of port structures.
* Professional Engineer (PE) License in the State of Florida.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
