Position SummaryThe incumbent needs to have the ability to effectively communicate and direct warehouse personnel.
They must implement and ensure all staff adherence to processes that are aligned with Zoetis's policies and procedures.
They are responsible for enforcing housekeeping principles to ensure clean, orderly, efficient, well-presented, and safe warehouse environments at Zoetis Parkville.
The warehouse manager is responsible for daily warehouse and logistics operations ensuring the on-time supply of materials to the Zoetis site.ResponsibilitiesMeet Environment Health and Safety requirements by adhering to safe operations through:Attendance at scheduled training sessionsAwareness trainingAssistance with safety auditsTimely hazard reportingAccident and incident reportingHousekeeping of work areasMaintain Zoetis Warehouse Via The Following:Manage all warehouse operations including material receival, staging, storage, issuance, expiry, disposal, and inventory accuracy.Manage logistics operations, including cold chain for both domestic and international.Manage regular stock takes and inventory management processes such as cycle counting to ensure only current and within expiry materials are located within the Zoetis warehouse locations.Perform ongoing administrative duties for materials, maintaining relevant databases, attending meetings, and representing manufacturing.Understand and implement relevant regulatory requirements and other guidelines as they relate to warehousing.Review, update, develop as required procedures, Batch Process Sheets and Bill of Materials (BOMs).Implement ongoing improvement initiatives.Meet Quality And GMP Requirements By:Adherence to GMP compliance and Site Quality Management Systems.Manage ongoing regulatory compliance, assist in facilitation of regulatory audits and implementation of corrective and preventative actions.Maintaining work areas to acceptable standards.Other duties as directed by Manufacturing Lead.Education And ExperienceBachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field.5+ years' experience in Supply chain management/logistics/cold chain warehousing in a management role.Forklift license or the ability to obtain.Ability to read, write and speak English.Strong safety mindset.Demonstrated ability to develop and manage warehouse staff.Demonstrated technical understanding of supply chain processes and systems.Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements, APVMA, TGA and DAFF.Exceptional working knowledge and understanding SAP.Demonstrated experience with problem solving.Double vaccinated with Covid – 19.
