System Management Specialist
As a System Management Specialist, you will be responsible for end-to-end management of SCADA systems, including system design, configuration, testing, commissioning, and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement comprehensive SCADA management strategies to ensure seamless system operation.
* Collaborate with the Service Manager to coordinate service activities, guaranteeing all work is performed safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
* Provide expert guidance and solutions to clients, addressing technical issues and managing communications effectively.
* Drive problem-solving and decision-making, proactively identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize downtime.
* E nsure compliance with industry regulations, client design standards, and Yokogawa's commitment to engineering excellence.
* Mentor junior engineers, contributing to their development and growth within the organization.
* P articipate in on-call rosters and attend client sites as needed to provide timely support.
Requirements
* Qualification in chemical engineering, instrumentation, mechatronics, electrical, or equivalent with experience in IT.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in SCADA control systems, preferably with Foundation Fieldbus, DNP3, and MQTT protocols.
* Experience in DCS/PLC system design, system integration, and testing is highly regarded.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with commercial acumen.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a focus on building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
