The Role
We are seeking an experienced and professional Medical Receptionist to join our dedicated team at Fremantle Skin Cancer Centre on a casual basis.
We are looking for availability on Friday's, with support for covering sick leave or annual leave. Our clinic opening hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am-5.00pm, and Friday 8am - 4pm.
As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a key role in assisting in the smooth day-to-day operations of our clinic, you will be responsible for:
* Warmly greeting and assisting patients
* Scheduling appointments and pro-actively coordinating the appointment book
* Accurate data entry of patient information
* Processing payments
* Managing phone and email queries
* Assisting in tidying up consult rooms
* General administration duties as required
Qualifications & Attributes
* Previous experience in an administrative/reception role within the Healthcare industry or similar is essential
* Previous experience with medical practice software, such as Best Practice will be highly regarded
* Customer-focused with a commitment to patient care
* A strong team player who contributes to a positive work culture
* Approachable, reliable and dependable
* Excellent communication skills, professional presentation and positive can-do attitude
* Sensitive in your approach when dealing with patients
* Authorised to work in Australia
